Nepal's Erica Gurung won a bronze medal at the 22nd Senior Asian Karate Championship on Friday.
According to coach Kushal Shrestha, Erica secured the bronze medal in the women's over 68kg weight category.
Competing in Bali, Indonesia, Erica defeated her opponent from Kazakhstan by an impressive 11–2 margin to claim the bronze medal.
This achievement adds another significant international medal to Nepal's karate accomplishments on the Asian stage.
