Nepal was defeated by India by 0-1 goal in the ongoing South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship in the Maldives. The Indian team managed to score a goal as Nepali team were unable to control the final ten minutes.

Nepal will face Bangladesh in the final match of the SAFF Championship's Round Robin League on 13th of October, 2021, Wednesday. The game will begin at 4:45 p.m. Nepal will advance to the final even if they draw with Bangladesh.
