Captain Kiran Chemjong thwarted the shot of the Indian player who had more ball possession than Nepal since the beginning of the matchg. Sunil scored in the 82^nd minute, taking advantage of a lack of coordination in the Nepali box. The same goal was enough to win for India against Nepal.

Nepal will face Bangladesh in the final match of the SAFF Championship's Round Robin League on 13^th of October, 2021, Wednesday. The game will begin at 4:45 p.m. Nepal will advance to the final even if they draw with Bangladesh.
