Rohit Chand, a key member of Nepal's national football team, will not play in the friendly match against India.
Nepal and India, who are preparing for the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship, will play two friendly matches at Dashrath Stadium in Tripureshwor on 2nd and 5th of September, 2021.
Rohit, a key member of the Nepali team, is in Indonesia at this time. He's also finished his quarantine period there. Rohit, who is also a professional football player, was taking part in a closed training session.
His club Persija Jakarta Football Club, however, contacted him after the league began in Indonesia. Rohit is said to have been called by the club to play in the championship. The SAFF Championship will be held in the Maldives from 1st of October to 16th of October, 2021.
Nepal will face Maldives in the first match.
