The Nepali football team's head coach, Abdullah Al-Mutairi, has chosen 36 players in the second round for the upcoming SAFF Championship Asian Cup. The camp had 50 players in the first phase, but it was reduced to 36 in the second phase.

Head coach Abdullah began his training on 7th of July. Abdullah has dismissed Bishal Sunar, Amit Tamang, Bibek Basnet, Darshan Gurung, Dona Thapa, Gaurab Budhathoki, Mikchen Tamang, Niraj Basnet, Nishan Khadka, Prijan Tamang, Rabi Paswan, Sesehang Aangdambe, Shishir Lekhi, and Sudil Rai based on their performance in the training.

Bikram Lama, a midfielder, trained with the team at the camp. If he is fully fit, ANFA stated that he will be included in the team.

The five goalkeepers in the second round are Kiran Chemjong, Deep Karki, Vikesh Kuthu, Vishal Shrestha, and Arpan Shrestha.

Forwards Ashish Lama, Abhishek Rijal, Bharat Khawas, Manish Dangi, George Prince Karki, Navyug Shrestha, Prakash Budhathoki, Anjan Bista, Sanjog Rai, and Sunil Bal are also members of the squad.

The squad includes defenders Ananta Tamang, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Gautam Shrestha, Rajan Gurung, Randeep Poudel, Ranjit Dhimal, Rohit Chand, and Suman Aryal.

The midfield is comprised of Nitin Thapa, Pujan Uparkoti, Eric Bista, Ayush Ghalan, Vishal Rai, Kamal Thapa, Rajiv Lopchan, Santosh Tamang, Sujal Shrestha, Suman Lama, Suraj Jiu Thakuri, Tej Tamang, and Tridev Gurung.
