Pakistan batted first and lost nine wickets for 331 runs in the allotted overs. Babar Azam, Pakistan's captain, hit a century. Mohammad Rizwan and Iman-ul-Haq also scored half-centuries, and he batted brilliantly for 158 runs off 139 balls. Haq returned to the pavilion for 56 runs after Rizwan was dismissed for 74.

England's Brydon Alexander Carse took 5 wickets while Saqib Mahmood took 3 wickets.
