UEFA earns £25 million from Euro Cup ticket sales, £16 million from England games alone

The European Football Federation has made a profit of £25 million from ticket sales for the Euro Cup. When England made it to the final of the Euro Cup for the first time, ticket sales increased even more.

The British government's decision to increase the number of spectators at the semi-finals and final at Wembley has benefited UEFA directly.

The number of spectators at Wembley Stadium is expected to drop if England is knocked out of the Euro Cup. However, after Gareth Southgate's team reached the final, the stadium was packed to capacity.

The final's tickets have all been sold out. Tickets have gone for as much as £15,000. The British government has approved the admission of 66,000 spectators to the semi-finals and finals at Wembley Stadium.

Tickets for the semi-finals and finals were priced at £501 and £296, respectively. The ticket prices have been increased to £510 and £810 in the end.

Ticket sales increased by £15,000 per game as England progressed. That means that just from England games, UEFA has made a profit of 16 million euros.
