Pakistan will host the 14th South Asian Games, which will feature 27 games in the month of March next year.

The South Asian Olympic Council held a virtual meeting to set the date for the SAG on Monday.

There will be 27 games in the tournament. Both men's and women's teams will compete. The competition will take place in five Pakistani cities.

The competition's main games will be held in Lahore, with additional games taking place in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Islamabad, and Sikakot.

The South Asian Olympic Council will invite other Olympic committees later this year to inspect the SAG's venue.

The chairpersons and general secretaries of the Olympic Committees of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Bhutan attended the meeting.

General Secretary Nilendra Raj Shrestha from Nepal Olympic Committee had participated.

Nepal had won 51 gold medals in the 13th South Asian Games.
