One hundred and twenty-eight Indian athletes are competing in the Olympics.

The players of archery, judo, badminton, weightlifting, tennis, women's and men's hockey, and shooting have decided not to participate in the March-past. These players will not be able to participate because their game is on Saturday.

Manpreet Singh Sandhu, an Indian hockey player, will carry the Indian flag at the Olympics' opening ceremony. The Olympic March-past will be conducted in Japanese alphabetical order.

One hockey player, eight boxers, four table tennis players, two rowers, one gymnast, one swimmer, four sailors, one fencer, and six officials are among the Indian players who are going for the March-past.
