The 500-day countdown to the 2022 FIFA World Cup has begun, as Qatar prepares to host more than a million football fans for the world's biggest sporting event.

The World Cup will kick off on the 21^st of November and conclude on the 18^th of December in Qatar, which is hosting the tournament for the first time in the Middle East and Arab countries.

Qatar has invested billions of dollars into this project. The World Cup will be held in some cold weather due to the extreme heat. Furthermore, all of the stadiums are modern and air-conditioned.

The infrastructure projects for Qatar's World Cup have reached 95% completion, with all eight stadiums expected to be ready by the end of the year.

Nasser al-Khater, the CEO of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 LLC, and young fans in Doha, Qatar's capital, expressed their pride in hosting the world's largest single-sport of the world.
