A 24-member Nepali team, including 15 players, returned home on Monday after competing in the International School Sport Federation (ISF) U-15 World School Sports Games.

The games were held in Belgrade, Serbia, from 11th of September to 19th of September, 2021. Nine swimmers and six taekwondo players competed.

Nepal won three bronze medals in Taekwondo. Lawang Lama took bronze in the individual boys event, while Simani Lama took bronze in the individual girls event. They also presented Nepal with bronze in Pair Poomsae.

According to Raj Kumar Karki, an ISF delegate, the swimming team won the title of 'Best Performer Team.' More than 5,000 players from 35 countries participated in the Games, according to Karki. Teammates, parents, and others welcomed them at Tribhuvan International Airport.
