In absence of alternative ground to hold the Martyrs’ Memorial A Division League, ANFA Complex was largely occupied. Nepali football had no option to the artificial turf at the ANFA Complex as the Dashrath Stadium was also going through repair, maintenance and renovation works. However, two grounds are set to be prepared for the upcoming season for the native football league. Dashrath Stadium is expected to be all prepared alongside Chyasal ground.

Works of the ANFA Technical Center in Chyasal have been expedited. The existing ground is being upgraded to meet international standards. Construction works are underway with the objective of preparing Chyasal ground for the 13^th South Asian Games. The 13^th South Asian Games will begin on the 1^st of December this year.

Parapets have been expanded to the east and north of Chyasal ground which spreads over 48 ropanis of land. New structure has been built to the west while the northern area remains vacant.

According to the construction company Pratistha Constructions Private Limited, the existing 1,200 capacity is being expanded up to 12,000. They have claimed that 65 percent works have already been completed.

Parapets are being expanded in the two sides while works are yet to begin in the odd side. Works of painting and allocation of rooms dedicated for ticket counters and wiring are yet to begin.

Of the 335 million rupees investment for the upgrading of the ground, 200 million rupees have already been spent. Pratistha Construction is responsible only for expansion of the structions as the All Nepal Football Association ANFA is responsible for preparing the playing surface. Locals in Chyasal are taking pride in having a stadium at their very own backyard.

ANFA is building this Technical Center in Chyasal with accommodation facility with the aid from the international football governing body, FIFA. Technical centers were also established in Dharan and Butwal. ANFA had begun the construction of technical centers in Dharan, Butwal and Chyasal all at once under the Goal project of FIFA 17 years ago.
