Gopichandra Parki of the Armed Police Force has won the In the 10th edition of Kantipur Half Marathon in the men category while Rajpura Pachai of Nepal Police came first in the women's category.

Parki completed the 21.1 km race in 1 hour, 7 minutes and 41 seconds. Similarly, Pachai completed the race in 1 hour 19 minutes and 10 seconds.

Similarly, Deepak Adhikari and Mukesh Pal of Tribhuvan Army Club came second and third respectively.

Among the women, Pushpa Bhandari of the Armed Police Force finished second while Rowa Bista of Nepal Police Club finished third.

The winners of the Kantipur Half Marathon in the men and women category will get a cash prize of Rs 100,000 each. 

In addition to the half marathon, corporate race (5 km) and wheelchair race (3 km) was also organized.

The half marathon started from Thapathali and ended at Maitighar via Baneshwor, Tinkune, Koteshwar, Jadibuti, Lokanthali, Thimi, Salaghari and Katunje Road.
