Shanta Nepali, a striker for the Waling Municipality team, has received a donation of one lakh rupees from the Nepali national football team.

The Nepali team, which is preparing for the championship, has donated one lakh rupees after the Neplays.com YouTube channel, Neplays TV, reached her home district and made public her condition.

The players of the Nepali team handed over the donation to Muktibabu Regmi, the editor of Neplays.com, with the help of Abdullah Al Mutairi, the head coach of the Nepali team.

Nepali players Vikesh Kuthu and Suman Aryal presented the donation to Regmi at the hotel where the national team was staying, Kuthu expressed his emotion that he felt after watching Shanta's story on Neplays' YouTube channel at the time while handing over the donation to Regmi.

He expressed his belief that if everyone worked together to create a conducive environment for players to play in, the country would attract the best players. He requested that Shanta be entrusted with their donation.

Editor Regmi stated that many people are now contacting from various locations to help Shanta Nepali and pledged to hand over the donation provided by the Nepali team to the concerned person.

Mukul Chhetri of Bhairahawa, who has been living in Australia for the past few years, has sent Rs. 50,300, stating that he was once a football player and that he is aware of the plight of Nepali players. He also told Neplays that he is willing to help in the coming days.

Likewise, Syanshu Bhusal has contributed Rs 5,000. The number of people contacting to help Shanta has increased even now. The supporters are constantly contacting to help Shanta after watching her video uploaded in the YouTube channel of Neplays.com from home and abroad. More than 160,000 donations have been collected so far, and the list of donors will be made public in stages.

The money will be transferred to Shanta and her family after reaching Waling and all accounts will be made public. Shanta is unable to advance herself in football due to her poverty. She is now compelled to work in someone else's home to support her family.

As a result, she is currently working on a plan to construct a small concrete block house on the roof of a Waling Municipality-built public toilet. She does, however, have financial difficulties.

Her supporters continued to contact us in Neplays after we made a video of her condition and made it public. We have made arrangements for those living in the country and abroad to send it to our E-sewa ID 9851186189.

Her is the video of her we have made:
