  • The three-member committee, led by ANFA central member Dinesh Byanjankar, has given General Secretary IndramanTuladhar notice of its resignation.

There has been a different type of politics within the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). The smell of politics inside ANFA began to spread again on Tuesday when three members of the hostel management committee resigned at the same time.

The three-member committee, led by ANFA central member Dinesh Byanjankar, has given General Secretary IndramanTuladhar notice of its resignation.

Arun Man Thoshi, chairman of Three Star and joint general secretary of ANFA, and RajendraNeupane, assistant treasurer, are on the committee. ANFA tasked the committee with constructing the academy, managing the playground, and installing floodlights, among other things.

They stated in their resignation letter that they resigned because the working environment at ANFA was unsuitable. Previously, when ANFA assumed responsibility, this committee resigned. However, ANFA entrusted them with the task for the second time on December 10 last year.

All three have resigned at the same time. They claimed to have resigned because the work began without the committee's knowledge. Byanjankar also announced that he has resigned as the security committee's coordinator and a member of the technical committee.

The ANFA's most recent internal conflict has resurfaced. Senior vice-chairman Pankaj Bikram Nembang, vice-chairman Krishna Bahadur Thapa, Bir Bahadur Khadka, and member Dawa Lama jointly submitted a letter to the central committee requesting a meeting a few days ago. All of them, according to an ANFA official, are opposed to the current leadership.
