Athletics coach Indra Kumari Malla has contracted a corona infection who was preparing for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics 2021.

The athletics team was scheduled to fly to Tokyo for the Tokyo Olympics on July 25.

According to Nilendra Raj Shrestha, the Nepal Olympic Committee's General Secretary, the corona infection has been confirmed on the first day of testing for a week.

Saraswati Chaudhary, who was also tested, received a negative response. She, on the other hand, is directly under contract tracing. She will travel to Japan if the test results are negative for seven days in a row.

The Athletics Association decided to cut Gopichandra Parki's name and send it to Saraswati after receiving many applications in the marathon quota.
