India and Pakistan will face off in the ICC T20 World Cup after a two-year hiatus, which will be held in Oman and the United Arab Emirates in October and November this year. The ICC announced the groups, which were formed by dividing 16 teams into four groups on Friday.

The 16 teams competing will compete in two phases. In the first round, eight teams competed, while eight teams advanced directly to the Super-12.

The Super-12's final four teams will be chosen from the first round. There will be two groups competing in the first phase. The Super-12 will feature four teams, including the group winners and runners-up.

Group II will include India and Pakistan, as well as New Zealand and Afghanistan, as well as the winners and runners-up from Groups A and B.

England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Group A winners, and Group B runners-up will compete in Group 1.

The matches will be played at Dubai International Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Stadium, and Oman Cricket Academy.

The first step-

Group A: Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, and Namibia.

Group B: Bangladesh, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, and Oman.

Super 12

Group A: England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Group A winners, Group B runners-up.

Group A: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Group A runners-up, Group B winners.
