The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has stated that there will be no foreign franchise leagues held in Nepal.

Some media outlets had reported that foreign leagues were being organized, according to CAN Secretary Ashoknath Pyakurel in a statement on Friday.

CAN has stated unequivocally that no foreign leagues are currently permitted and has urged everyone not to be confused.

The press release also requested that state and district cricket associations, players, officials, technical officials, and other cricket-related individuals or organizations refrain from participating in any cricket competitions held across the country without the association's permission.
