The Nepali team for the Tokyo Olympics, led by Ramesh Kumar Silwal, member secretary of the National Sports Council (NSC), departs for Tokyo today.

Under the leadership of Member Secretary Silwal, a 10-member team, including a shooting and judo team, will depart today. Then another team will go on the 19th. The president of the Olympics, the secretary-general, and the secretary of the Ministry of Sports are among them.
The athletics team will depart on July 25. Tej Gurung is the only one of the 26 people on the list who will not be attending the Olympics.
Gaurika will compete in the women's 100m freestyle, while Alex will compete in the men's 100m freestyle.
Kalpana will compete in the women's 10m air rifle, while Sania will compete in the women's 48kg weight class and Saraswati will compete in the women's 100m.
The coaches are Shankar Karki of Swimming, Asim Yadav of Shooting, Suryanarayan Shrestha of Judo, and Indra Kumari Malla of Athletics.
