President Bidyadevi Bhandari has bid the Nepali team competing in the Tokyo Olympics farewell.

President Bhandari bid farewell to the Nepalese Olympic team in a ceremony today at Sital Niwas.

President Bhandari presented the Nepali team with the national flag and bid them farewell. Ramesh Silwal, Member Secretary of Save the Mission for the Olympics, received the flag from President Bhandari.

Bhandari aspired to compete in a major competition, such as the Olympics, and to do well. She urged the players to adhere to the game's rules and play in a disciplined manner. She also raised the country's flag and wished him to arrive in dignity. Gaurika Singh and Alex Shah will carry the Nepalese flag during the Olympics' opening parade.

The farewell program drew a total of 21 people. A team of ten people, including a shooting and judo team, will compete on Friday. The second team will take the field on the 19th. The president of the Olympics, the secretary-general, and the secretary of the Ministry of Sports are among them.

The athletics team will depart on July 25. Tej Gurung is the only one of the 26 people on the list who will not be attending the Olympics.

Gaurika will compete in the women's 100m freestyle and Alex will compete in the men's 100m freestyle.

Kalpana will compete in the women's 10m air rifle, while Sania will compete in the women's 48kg weight class and Saraswati will compete in the women's 100m. The coaches are Shankar Karki of Swimming, Asim Yadav of Shooting, Suryanarayan Shrestha of Judo, and Indra Kumari Malla of Athletics.

Over 15,000 athletes will compete in the Olympics from July 23 to August 8.

Officials are Jeevan Ram Shrestha, General Secretary Nilendra Raj Shrestha, Chaturananda Baidh, Sunil Kumar Shrestha, Pitambar Timsina, Tulsi Thapa, Prakash Shamsher Rana, and Ram Awale. The majority of the members of the Olympic Committee's working committee will be attending as per the list.

Sports Ministry Secretary Kedar Neupane, NSC Vice President Shib Koirala, Member Secretary Ramesh Silwal, Member Subash Shrestha, and another member Sampan Shrestha.

The medical team is led by Nabis Man Singh, and the Nepali volunteer is Rupesh Dangol. Prem Baral is a member of the team.
